Montgomery County Chorale and Orchestra is very excited to announce our upcoming 2024-2025 concert season, presenting attractive sponsorship opportunities for area businesses interested in demonstrating their support for the local arts and culture community.
Our 27th season begins on October 6 with Majestic Melodies, a concert of music for solo violin and orchestra featuring David Kim, Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, as our guest soloist. This will be the first time David has performed with a community orchestra in Montgomery County in over 15 years! On December 7 and 8, for the first time we will offer two presentations of our increasingly popular Festival of Carols concert, A Time of Hope, featuring various works for choir and orchestra as well as new and inspiring arrangements of traditional carols, and spoken word.
We end the season with our Spring concert Reflections on April 6, 2025, where we will feature the East Coast premiere and only the 6th performance ever of “Ashes of Roses,” a fresh take on the requiem for choir, orchestra, soloists, and soprano saxophone by living Minnesota-based composer Jocelyn Hagen. We look forward to having Jocelyn with us for this performance!
